Kazan takes a special place among Russian cities. This is the place where at once several civilizations meet. Kazan, the capital of Tatarsan, can easily be called a crossroad of worlds, a true symbol of harmonious coexistence of not only cultural, but also religious traditions of two Russian territories - European and Asian.

It is not by chance that one of the first art-residences has appeared in Kazan. Creative work at the junction of cultures and civilizations often gives unexpected and fruitful results.
